A square jpg from 400x400 to 800x800 pixel is usualy enough. Small enough to be loaded quickly but large enough to have a clean image.
Tip : Artwork does not need to be a square though, the "cover" player works well with landscape pictures, check this or this.

myDiscog is a database where you can store your discography full of artwork and audio clips. From there, choose one of the available flash player, and copy/paste its embed code in your favourite web page to show your discography on your website/page.

The right name for this tag would be "Hidden from my official discography". It is a special tag you can't rename or delete, and switched on by default for a freshly created album. It allows you to prepare the album before making it visible in your players around the net.
Tip : Even with the "Hidden" tag switched on, an album will show in one-album players. This could be usefull for special uses of that album (promo page player or temporary player).
